Why can I not see the new iOS emoji?
If a new emoji shows as a blank box, question mark, or missing symbol, your device probably does not support Emoji 17.0 yet. Updating your operating system is the usual fix.
The person receiving your message may also need an update. If you send distorted face or orca to someone on older software, they may not see the emoji correctly until their phone, tablet, computer, or app adds support.
